Below are several ways to deal with stress that you can incorporate into your life. Pick and choose the ones that interest you!

Adding stress reduction and stress management activities should become a habit you do everyday -- like brushing your teeth! While some of these activities provide immediate relief, many require practice to get the most out of them. Don’t expect too much, too soon. But don’t give up either! You can learn to achieve a state of relaxation if you incorporate these techniques into your daily life.

One year from now you will not even remember that deadline you failed to meet or the fight you got in with your friend. You are alive and well and can still go and do things you enjoy.

Be grateful for what you do have. Your boss may have screamed at you today, but you still have a roof over your head and food to eat. Always keep in mind what you do have and realize your life could be worse.

Take a more optimistic viewpoint on life and realize that this stressful moment in your life is meaningless in the bigger picture. Are you going to even remember this in two, five, or even ten years? Most likely not.
