Stress Management for Women

Women and men handle stress differently and there needs to be a unique approach to stress management for women.

Women often feel like they have a lot of weight to carry. Women are considered caregivers, mothers, spouses, workers, housekeepers, cooks and friends, and I am sure you can list many more!

It is important to take time to de-stress everyday and to take care of yourself. Women often think that others should come first, but if you neglect yourself there is no way you can fully care for another.

If you are feeling so overwhelmed, that you don’t have time to take care of yourself, there are a few things you can do to make more time.

Ask for help -- If you have someone that can help you out, ask! Split house chores with other members of the family, ask your husband to take care of the kids or cook dinner.

Change your commute -- If you work standard hours and are forced to sit in traffic for long periods, ask your boss if you can change hours to come in earlier or later to avoid the rush hour. If you have a job that you can easily work from home one day of the week, find out if this will be an option.

These are just a two ideas you can use. Click here for more easy stress management for women techniques.
